Description
The Stickmate® LX 235 AC/160 DC power sources lets you choose between AC or DC weld output to expand your welding options to either AC or DC stick electrodes. Although DC current offers welders a smoother arc with less spatter and better arc starts, the AC setting offers welders the ability to work on heavier steel with a top end of 235A. Includes: 15 ft. electrode cable with heavy-duty holder, 10 ft. work cable with clamp and power cord with plug.
- Welds 1/8 in. up to 1/2 in. mild steel in a single pass
- Operates off 230V input power
- AC - 30 to 235 output amperage, DC - 30 to 160 output amperage
- Duty cycle - AC 20% at 225 amps, DC 20% at 150 amps
- Accu-Set™ amperage indicator for accurately controlling amperage or heat output
- Infinite current control allows output adjustments by as little as 1 amp increments
- Output selector switch - quickly select low or high range without adjusting the output leads

My brother and I bought this to do just general welding around the place and purchased a generator to run it.
Both have performed flawlessly!! This is a fantastic aka cracker box welder!!

AWESOME WELDER

This welder is Awesome. It's super easy to use and will weld any type of metal. I have even welded cast iron with it and had no problems. Price is very reasonable, especially for a welder with such a well known name.
