I had one project that really called for a metal bender when I started looking around for one, I found a good quality home shop type bender is hard to find. I saw this one at the store and knew the hunt was over, it works great, I got my one project done, and have found many other jobs for this bender. I welded it's small factory base plate to a larger/thicker steel plate and then bolted the steel plate to the shop floor, the factory foot plate is a little small/lite if you are really pulling on the unit.

Metal Bender

I own a small fabrication shop specializing in wroght iron tables & furniture. I have been wanting one of these for years and finally saw one in your Zachary, LA store. After buying it and setting it up, it exceeds my expectations and I would compare it to the high priced benders anywhere. It is well constructed and turns out perfect bends every time!

So far so good

So far its very sturdy and welded very good and has a heavy duty handle to use as leverage. The only thing wrong with the bender is the four bolt hole to secure it to the floor when you drill into the concret floor pour some concret mix, then install the anchor sleeves, bolt it down to the floor and leave it for how ever long it take for the concret to dry fully and you should be good.
