i have bought 4 of these for my skidsteer and tractors and they work great. i set them up so i just plug them in when the item is not being used.

This is a great little charger. I purchased this unit to charge a new battery that I had just purchased. The new battery’s instructions indicated that the initial charge should not be over 1.5 amps, which makes this charger perfect for the job.
I also just acquired a used garden tractor that had a battery that seemed totally dead. I connected my more expensive computerized charger to its battery, but the charger would not even attempt to charge the battery, giving a fault error every time I tried to connect it. So I tried this little charger, and to my surprise, it fully charged that battery and it now works fine! Perhaps my battery was sulfated, and this charger conditioned it, I don’t know, I do know the battery now works great!
This unit comes with two sets of connectors, one set has quick connect clips, for fast temporary connections, the other set can be bolted right to your battery’s terminals for a nice way to permit trickle charging of a battery that is not used very often, such as in vehicles that you might store over the winter months.
This charger will automatically shut off when a battery is charged, and will turn back on if the battery begins to lose its charge, making it perfect for trickle charging batteries that are stored for long periods of time. Excellent value. Highly recommended!
