Made of heavy duty, non-rusting, Brite-Tread black powder coated aluminum. Hidden hinge runs full length of box for maximum strength. Crowned lid designed for extra strength. Full pan support inner lid for reinforcement and superior rigidity. Gas shocks assist in lid opening and provide a controlled rate to avoid cab damage. Stainless steel paddle handle latches are lockable and ergonomically designed offer convenient access to storage while providing security. Closed cell foam gasket prevents water and other elements for getting inside the box.

Great box for the money. Light weight so one person can handle it easily. Lid seals up good so it doesn't fill up with dust. Handle works easily and is simple to lock. Not as stout as some of the bigger name boxes but it is half the price. I've had one for a year now and it has held up good. Planning on purchasing a second one.

We have purchased different types of tool boxes to go in the back of our farm/work trucks over the years. Even though this was our first purchase for this type of tool chest, so far we are pleased with this product. Even though they offered a warranty to cover the springs and gasket we did not purchase that warranty. Getting it loaded into the back of the truck wasn't a problem and screwing it the bed took no time at all. The only thing was that we wished we could of gotten a black tool chest instead of the steel of the metal looking one. The price did not seem that unreasble compaired to other stores and believe you me, we shopped around first.
