GREAT concept. Works great if you do not want to carry around multiple hitches and/or different size balls. If you are NOT smart enough or handy enough to add 4-6 chain links to your existing safty chains -- you may not want to get this great hitch. AGAIN I say -- you cant go wrong.Get a locking pin, Just had my ball hitch stolen. Hope I can find just the slide in part of the hitch.

I have owned this product for over 5 yrs and it has served me wonderfully. It is made well, it's practical, and convenient. The only reason I purchased a 2nd one is because my 1st one was stolen. I recommend getting keyed matching locks for it.

IN REGARDS TO THE PREVIOUS REVIEW: SAFETY CHAINS ARE A PERSONAL ISSUE AND SHOULD NOT AFFECT THE OVERALL QUALITY OF A PRODUCT. GET SOME D-RINGS AND WOW THEY WORK. OVERALL 10 OUT OF 10! WHETHER HAULING TRAILERS OR RECOVERING STUCK TRUCKS THE HITCH IS TOP DOG!

A great concept but poorly executed. I see lots of positive reviews but I wander how this product is really being used. I purchased the hitch and none of my trailers safety chains would reach back to the truck. Some of the trailers light hook ups would have to be lengthened and modified so I returned the product for a refund.
