The hitch packer will be a useful product but has some flaws that need to be corrected. The paint job is not the best quality. Several places had either no paint or very little paint on them. The part of the hitch packer that slides into the receiver has the whole drilled in the far end. This does not allow for the hitch packer bar to slide into the receiver very far causing it to be unstable. I will correct this problem by drilling another hole further up the tube. All in all the product will be useful for packing items such as mulch bags, fertilizer, etc.

This folding trailer hitch carrier is comparable to other steel carriers. The unit is well made and sturdy, with a long draw bar so that those with rear hatches can open when unit is attached and carrier is down. When folded up the hatch on smaller vehicles shoudl be able to still open but SUV's would be very doubtful.
Some dislikes, painted surfaces were stuck to box as if just strayed and stuffed in box, leaving cardboard pieces stuck on frame. Attachment hardward was loose in box and chipped several spots on the frame prior to opening box.
Drawbar holes are not really deep enough to go in all the way on the receiver so it makes unit a little wobblely, I suggest drilling another set of holes to allow drawbar to go deeper into the receiver which makes the unit more sturdy given it's distance from the vehicle.
Reflective red and white tape would work better than the two red reflectors provided to mark to other vehicles the rear of the carrier.
All in all worked great on trip weighs about 50lbs unloaded so you can lift it on and off vehicle when you would like to leave it off vehicle once you arrive at your loacation.

Folding Hitchpacker

Just bought my Hitchpacker and was very happy with the price, ease of assembly, and its quality.
We will be leaving on a trip using the hitchpacker in late Febr and I will be able to add to this review, but I loaded it with too much weight to one side and it seemed to be able to handle the stress and misbalanced load with no problems.
