I bought this to use on my Car hauler. While trying to off load some logs from my trailer, I didn't realize that the log wasn't moving. This 8000 lbs winch was actually pulling my truck, trailer, and a overloaded car hauler across the concrete with the parking brake set and the tires not moving. It had to be over 10,000 lbs. I was amazed and very happy I bought it

Ive owned my Champion 8000 pound winch for over a year i use it almost daily to load scrap cars and trucks tractors whatever and it always does the job ive even pulled 3/4 ton chevy with the wheels locked up on it onto the trailor with no problem for the money this has been an awsome investment with no problems I highly recomend this winch

I purchased this winch and installed it on my truck. Used it once to pull a 4wheeler out of ditch about 400lb quad. Pulled it out fine. Then I pulled the cable out to hook up for another pull and the winch was dead! 5 days old and dead. I called Champion and my options were to ship the winch (heavy and expensive) to them and they will fix it and ship it back, they had no idea how long this would take or I could fix it myself. They did not care one bit that there product was defective after 1 use. Learned my leason there is a reason top brands like warn are more expensive... Quality and they stand behind there product. I now have a Warn winch and could not be happier. If you decide to purchase be aware you are on your own when it brakes Champion doesnt care!

I got this winch to recover my JD 4720 that was bottomed out in the mud, the location did not allow another vehicle close enough to pull from. I attached the winch to the three point hitch, used the included snatch block connected to a tree and back to the tractor to pull my self out. Did a great job with little effort. The extra long cable is great.
