good for the $
Date:July 24, 2011
These hitch attachments are ok for lightweight loads but not for anything heavy. They say 500 lbs max but I would stay between 250 to 300 lbs with the weight over the center/ hitch. I think it’s a great value comparing the cost & convenience. I also recommend drilling & bolting a handful of eye bolts around the outside to give you something to tie to when securing the load..

Great alternative

Perfect towing alternative to a full utility trailer when all you need is to haul items 500 lbs or less. Very dependable product and would highly recommend.

simple cargo shelf
Date:December 23, 2009
Was a pretty simple thing to put together, just two bolts. easy to put in the vehicle hitch. The worst thing about the cargo rack is trying to tie things down to it. If the frame had some rings or something to be able to hook tie downs on would be very useful. cause when u haul things on it you wanna be able to strap them down, they didnt think of it on this one.
