Larin bench vise
Date:September 9, 2010
I first bought this vise when my other craftman vise broke. And my first thought was that this was going to be a lot more heavy duty then the one that i had before but i was sadly mistaken. I only used it probably five time and in the process of replacing my unversal joints in my truck the guts of the vise gave away making it pretty much worthly.I woulf not recommend this to no one.

What a mistake

Considering the price, one would think they were getting a pretty good vise. The workmanship on this vise was terrible. The end cap lacked 1/4" being tight. The handle has 2 threaded ball ends that would not stay tight. The pipe vise will grip a 3/4" pipe, if you remove the jaws of the vise. And it just barely does then. After loosening the 2 screws to turn the pipe vise up, I tightened the screws back down, and one broke a chunk out of the casting. Needless to say, I returned the vise to the store and got my money back.
