Review of Larin Bench Vise
Date:May 18, 2012
I purchased the 5" vise ~ 3 months ago and have used it ~6-8 times since then. On about the 3rd use, the retaining ring that allows the vise to rotate stripped out while tightening the retainers to lock it in place to thread a piece of metal. This was repaired. Today, while using the vise to bend some heated 3" wide x 3/16" thick metal brackets (by bending with a 1 foot bar-not by hitting), the base ring that mounts the vise to the table broke into two pieces. Save your money and buy a quality vise.

Good Product
Date:December 5, 2010
This vice seems to be sturdy and well built for the price that is being asked, just not sure how long the rubber tips on the handle are going to last on my workbench where I do alot of cutting and welding, but still an all around good vice for home and farm use.
