works, but consider it disposable

Works well. Hose is very short which requires lots of maneuvering . Biggest shortcoming is that I'm unable to find replacement nozzles for it and the metal nozzle that comes with it wears out fast. For that reason, 3 stars.

I bought 2 different siphon blasters before this one. and both were useless. This one actually works!!! It clears rust about the size of a quarter in 2 seconds. So its not very fast but good for small jobs. I'm using it to get the rust off of the differential of my truck and some parts of the frame that I could not get a grinder into.
when i fist got it I put in some of that black diamond and would not feed at all. I was using the more aggressive stuff so maybe the finer would be better. I use some stuff that I got some where else it looks like sand and its silica free.
The only thing I don't like about it is what I believe to be the secret to it working. The siphon hose is very wide and not very flexible and only 6 feet long.
Also I'm only using a 17 gallon compressor. The compressor has to run for long periods of time and I have to stop every few min. its not ideal but it gets the job done.
