I bought this little grinder thinking it would be good to work in tight places. The first one I bought only lasted 3 minutes tops, before it started smoking and got so hot I could hardly keep it in my hands before it stopped. It quit after 3 minutes. I took it right back and got another one. I used it off and on for a total of about an hour and it quit. I noticed they gave me an extra set of brushes in the box (what's that tell you) so I took it apart and found one of the brush springs was burnt in half, so I replaced both brushes. I put it back together and it started running again. I wonder how long these brushes are going to last. Very disappointed and I'll never waste my money on these green tools again. Another good brand name down the tubes

I purchased this grinder last october. in that time i had worn down only one grinding wheel. when i was loosening the grinding wheel to change it, i broke off the handle. it didn't take very much force at all. the casing is very thin. i would classify this grinder as fragile.

Brushes seem to be an issue.

I bought this with a wire wheel to take thre rest of the paint off of a door. It didn't make it. I had to use drills and sanders to finish the job. Used it only a few minutes and one of the brushes started melting through the handle, the other just self destructed and fell out through the vent holes. Took it back and upgraded to next larger grinder. I still have that one, but it gets too hot too fast.
