bad support
Date:February 4, 2012
I bought this grinder on sale at the after thanksgiving sale. I wanted to remove thinset from the back of some tile. I replaced the grinding wheels with a wire brushes, and it worked well for about 20 on/off cycles at which time the switch became intermittent, and after another 20 cycles it quit completely. After 30 days you must deal with the distributor, rather than Tractor Supply. Calls and e-mails have gone unanswered. After three e-mails, I did get directions as to what to send to get a new switch. That was 15 days ago, and repeat calls and e-mails have not been answered at all. I do not even know if they are still a viable company. It does make a good weight if you need to hold something down .

Great little grinder
Date:July 18, 2011
I cut between 30 and 35 lawns per week. I sharpen my own blades using my Black Bull grinder weekly. Right out of the box this little machine went right to work. Has never hiccupped since I've owned it. Even after I dropped it. I sharpen my blades as I remove them and rotate my blade sets around. With care, you can sharpen just about anything. I also keep my shovels sharpened, along with my ax and machete using my grinder. Compared to the Ryobi I looked at in HD, this is a superior machine for less money. Do yourself a favor and getcha one of these.

Poor construction
Date:March 25, 2010
I opened this grinder right out of the box and it did not work. I took the base apart and the on/off switch to see if I could find the problem. The wire end connectors inside the grinder were not connected to the switch! When I tried to slide the female wire end over the male prong on the switch the connector pulled right off the wire. It had never been crimped on at the factory. I found a loose wire nut as well. Poor construction and poor quality. You get what you pay for I guess.
