The saw cuts metal but does not cut it straight and if you want accurate angles, forget it!

Dewalt Chop Saw

Awesome Saw. My old saw burned up Monday 02-20-12 night. I purchased a Dewalt last night and the saw is way more quiet and has considerbly more power than my old R.
I still loved my R due to getting 13 + years of great service from it. Wish they still made them. But I am glad to now have the Dewalt.

great product

this saw works great for cutting steel angle iron and exhaust pipe, it has good power and does not bog down easily i have owned for two years and use it a good bit and haven't had any problems with it. Great buy for occasional use or heavy use.

Dewalt Chop Saw

I purchased this tool for xmas at my local Tractor Supply Store and have used it to cut everything from plastic pipe to stainless steel. This is the real deal, easy to use and understand the instructions. I have use other chop saws but the Dewalt is far superior, and cost about the same as its competitors.
