A waste of my money

Even a splitting maul needs a sharp enough edge to penetrate the wood. This one does not have a decent edge and makes splitting anything other than perfect wood very difficult. I have had many splitting mauls over the years and this is the only one I have had that I would not recommend to anyone. After one week, I am shopping for another brand.
