Love this little Generator!

Love this little Generator.
I received the ix2000 model as a gift and was pleasantly urprised. Pulled it right out of the box added the oil which was very easy with the funnel provided.....put in some gas and it fired right up! used it to power the lights, fridge, stereo and microwave in my camping trailer. Brewed some coffee every morning, and hooked up my laptop to watch some movies at night.
Great product! Called customer service to register my ix2000 and was greeted with kind, happy, helpful people.
High highly recommed this little generator, or any other Generac product.

My Honeywell Replacement Generator

This generator was a replacement for my old one manufactured by Northshore Power. That one just did not start or run right straight out of the box. Turns out it had a cracked carb. It was taking way to long to get the carb so Generac decided to replace the old unit with one made by them. The new unit seems lighter and started right up, unlike the old unit. Have not really used it much yet but it seems fairly quiet and runs smooth, unlike the old unit. Hopefully it will continue to work great.
The people I dealt with concerning the replacement were very courteous and really seemed to care about the customer. There was no hesitation at all in deciding to send a new generator,

Love this generator. I use it for all sorts of things and it comes in handy for all the awful weather we've been experiencing lately. I would definitely recommend this product.

Excellent inverter generator

I bought the iX2000 as soon as I heard hurricane Irene was going to hit. I ended up getting the last one, which was displayed and demo'd on the floor, as it was the last one left.
The fuel inside it was brown and foul. The dealer drained it and poured fresh fuel in it and the generator started up on the third pull. It pulsated at first, but what do you expect with 2 year old fuel in it?
The dealer I bought this from was very honest and knowledgable. I asked if these generac inverters has any problems, and he said yes. Common problems they see are carburetor issues, choke levers breaking off, oil sensors not working right, and something else which has to do with power surging but I can't remember the exact name of the part.
He made sure everything worked right before I left out the door with it. And any problems I had to come right back to him with it.

Great thing is, I haven't had any problems with this generator! When we lost power, it ran night and day for 6 straight days. I only shut it off for its first and second oil changes. This guy never quit on me once!
In summary, this is an excellent inverter generator, however do not buy this online. Go to an authorized Generac dealer and buy it. Have them start it, check it, and make sure it's ok before going out the door.
