I had been needing a larger generator and found this one and new that this is usually a good brand. I received it and it was very easy to assemble and ran great and quietly. It also had plenty of receptacles for multiple uses at once

Good product, easy to set up and use but heavy and hard to move on any incline.

Pros: Home backup power
My generator arrived quickly as was easy to put together. It has worked well and more than met our needs. However, it is very heavy and hard to move. Our driveway has a slight incline to it. The weight plus the small tires, which are tubeless and hard to keep inflated or replace, makes it almost impossible for my wife to move out of the garage to use. Also, be sure you keep your battery charged. That said, I'd buy another one.

Dissapointed with dealers / service reps in CT

Pros: Home backup power
I purchased this unit (GP17500E) for home backup power for my CT home. I have been trying to get a dealer / service rep to assemble the unit at my house - for a fee- and spare me the effort of having to lift a 400 pound unit to assemble the wheel kit (I have a bad back)....So far all the service reps in CT have turned me down. One told me they are not taking any more portables...Just be aware that if you purchase this product you'll be on your own trying to assemble it...
