Excellent!!
Date:April 24, 2012
Pros: Entire Home
All appliances (including computers) function as expected. I cannot think of anything negative to say except I should have had this installed sooner. I can go into the winter knowing I will have heat and water no matter what."

Poor first impression; time will tell
Date:April 15, 2012
Pros: Refrigerator / Freezer, Well/water pump
Unit installed and tested ok, but during several subsequent weekly tests it would not start, and showed the "stopped-alarm-overcrank" notice. The installer found that the unit shipped WITHOUT its air filter, and that the butterfly valve for the choke was damaged and had to be replaced. This took several weeks and calls, and one power outage when it did not work. This was extremely stressful, and for weeks after we dreaded the weekly tests. It has been several months now and we are hoping all is well but we were not at all impressed with this unit for the first few months. We don't blame the installer; the air filter is hidden away and there was no reason for him to question if it was there or not. Love the concept of a generator that runs on LP gas, turns on automatically, and all that simplicity, but it would take a different initial impression to give me the confidence to recommend this to a friend or neighbor. Many are in the market, after Irene.

Husband loves our new generator and all it's features.
Date:March 30, 2012
Pros: Entire Home
Albeit, this is a very new review, but we are exceedingly pleased with our new generator. Install went easy, delivery (from Lowe's) was super excellent. All in all so far this has been a good experience. I would recommend this product to anyone.
Only complaint, if you can even call it that is we ordered back in October 2011 and just received in March 2012. I understand due to the increase in bad weather everywhere. Maybe generac has resolved this problem by hiring more people, based on increased demand.
I guess this is evidence of a good product though. Thanks.
