C/H 20 Gallon Compressor
Date:May 14, 2012
After reading many reviews and comparing many compressor models, I chose this unit. It had the best reviews, plus the TSC associate recommended this unit over others I was looking at. Well, it may be a great unit, but it kept blowing the circuits, no matter where in my home, garage or shed I plugged it in. It clearly states that it can be used on a 15 amp circuit, but I couldn't get it to stay powered on. I'll be exchanging this unit for another model.

Information I found useful

I contacted the manufacturer and found that this unit is identical to the VT6290 except for the motor. The VT6290 can be set up for either 120 or 240V. This unit is only for 120V which is fine for me. The VT6290 sells for $150-250 more on line so this is the way to go in my opinion.

Great deal for a compressor
Date:August 19, 2010
I needed a compressor for light vehicle repair and general home repair I did a lot of research and this is the compressor i chose. I chose it for the fact that It is belt drive and Oil lubricated. I always found that oil-less compressors have shorter lives and run very hot. The tank is a bit small for lots of heavy air use, the motor did keep up with everything but sustained air hammer use. The price point is another big plus.
