squirrels loved it

I gave the baffle 1 star because it did slow the squirrels down a little. The baffle has 2 major deficiencies: a textured surface and a chewable dome. After less then 2 weeks of use my baffle is almost half eaten from squirrels that are able to grip the baffle surface while chewing the edges. By tipping what's left, they are able to jump onto the bird feeder. A slick, metal baffle would be in order.

Didn't need a squirrel baffle, but our mesh finch feeder didn't work because the seed kept getting wet. The feeder was said by many to be the best they ever had. Well, it was a useless feeder until I put this baffle on it. Now the seed stays dry, and the birds are well fed.

A Very Good Product

I purchased three of these baffles. One I use on a pole and it has successfully stopped all the squirrels from reaching the bird feeder. The other two I use over feeders hanging from tree branches. One smart squirrel has figured out how to reach the feeders by stretching over it . However, they have 100% stopped rats and opossums from raiding the feeders which is a very huge plus.
They are very easy to install and are well made. I highly recommend them.

Got three - better than any other dome or baffle we have tried - and we have tried some over the years. Durable, effective and inexpensive - what else would you ask for.
