Four sock let down

Was the last item on the shelf, was excited to buy it. Got it home and it was missing a part. Then while trying to figure out what was missing, lost most of the seed that I had put in it. What was missing was a round plastic piece that keeps the seed from falling all over the place around the sock. Why it even needs this plastic piece is beyond me, there should not even be holes where these are. While trying to get the section fixed, the top clear plastic dome fell off of the bottom section and would not go back on. Luckily we owned a roll of duct tape. So I would say, buy it if you like it, but look at it in the store and make sure you have duct tape handy.

This is a great feeder - within 5 minutes of hanging it, the feeder was loaded with finches!!! I am very happy with this feeder and it came with replacement socks. Thanks, Tractor Supply!

This bird feeder is really neat. My hubby thinks it looks like a spaceship! The finches seem to like it especially when raining/snowing they have shelter while they snack! The chickadees like it too when their sunflower seeds are gone. It took them a few days to find it because I hung it in a different area then my other feeders.
Haven't had it long so not sure how it will hold up, but I bought replacement socks to have on hand.

I love the ideal of this feeder and it works pretty well the finches love it BUT the feeder is plastic and the lid doesn't fit too well and warps easily and the seed gets wet. The sock are great but hard to find and they do get holes in them and need replacing. But the finches do love it and flock to it. Therefore it does get three stars as it does do a good job of bird feeding. Maintance is the poor part.
