A great basic black thistle feeder
Date:August 28, 2010
This basic black thistle feeder is a great value. You can find other feeders with lots more features, but if you want simple and easy at a great price, this is the one for you. It can be a little tricky to clean (try a bottle brush) but the birds love it.

It's alright
Date:February 6, 2010
I went to clean this feeder out today. It was not an easy clean feeder. This feeder is not practical when you are getting a lot of rain since the rain seeps through and destroys any thistle/nyjer seed you have inside. Basically the water just molded the seed and produced some maggots inside. Granted I could have taken it inside, I just don't like a lot of hassle. I would recommend the finch socks if you feel this way too since the air can penetrate those and at least dry them out, thereby preventing the mess.
