Gone Downhill
Date:April 1, 2012
This used to be the best value in seed--it has gone way down recently. Too many husks, chaff, sand and milo are being added. Western birds may like milo but it just is trash in my backyard. I have been having to mix in my own amendments to get the birds to eat it.

great food plot material
Date:August 22, 2011
For early season and late season plots designed for forage not antler growth this bird seed can't be beat. Very little ground work needs to be done and it grows in drought areas with only the dew for moisture. We planted around two tenths of an acre and have gotten a lot of action from deer and hogs. Its a great alternative to expensive seeds that require a more in-depth planting method and must have x amount of water or it dies. Antler growth at this time of year (middle August) is not going to change by feeding them what antler growth needs so this bird seed fills the ticket for attraction to forage. It grows well into the cooler months and have even seen it sweat out a few frosts.

Excellent!

First time using this and I think it's a great value of seed for the price. There is a slightly higher concentration of millo yet there is a good amount of white millet as well. In the end, all the birds and animals in my area clean it up so it's all going to use. This seed is a great general mix.

This use to be the best bird food, great value for money, since the price has gone up and the quality has gone down, it now has 50% twigs, empty seeds husks and just bits of nothing
