Tractor Supply Co.® Flake Premium Pine Shavings are a quality bedding solution for horses, livestock, and outdoor pets. These shavings are fluffier, softer and provide an extra level of comfort for animals. Flake shavings contain the lowest amount of dust while maintaining maximum absorbency in proportion to the cubic feet of stall floor coverage. Each bag is highly compressed for more economical transport - the package is only 2.5 cu. ft. in size, but the contents expand to cover 8 cu. ft.!

Less quantity, less quality=less customers/sales

We used to buy around 20 bags of wood shavings a month. When TSC changed over to these new shavings, we were highly dissapointed. Not only do you get less quantity for your money, but also less quality. We absolutely cannot use these shavings. We now drive an extra 35 miles each month to get the shavings from another store. Have not met a single other person who is satisfied with the shavings at TSC.

WORST SHAVINGS EVER!!!!

Tractor Supply used to carry my favorite shavings; they were consistent in size and texture and, NOT dusty, no debris, nice and dry and the bag used to be 3 cu. ft. These not only were now 2.5 cu. ft. but HORRIBLY dusty, extremely inconsistent, alot of large rough pieces of wood in them and just plain DIRTY. How and why Tractor Supply could ever endorse these obviously INFERIOR QUALITY SHAVINGS with their name is beyond me.They need to remove the word "Premium" from the package because it isn't truthful. I will NOT be buying them again, it was a waste of money, I will tell EVERYONE I know to buy them elsewhere until Tractor Supply starts supplying a QUALITY product again.

Not Absorbent,hard to clean waste of money

I do not like these shavings at all. It does not absorb urine and is difficult to clean. Finer shavings are a MUCH better choice for absorbancy and much less waste.

A true wast of time and money

These are the worst shavings I have ever used. We needed some shavings quick and decided to try this brand. WOW what a mistake, I could not believe the lack of quality control and that tractor supply would be willing to put their name on a product of this quality.
