Haven't used this yet. (Hope I don't have to). Only suggestion--redesign the skid shoes to raise the thrower higher for gravel drives. Looks like a winner.

Good running, started it brand new from the store using the electric start it fired right up no problems, snow drifts of 3 feet heavy snow.. didn't skip a beat moved it with no problem, just used today to cleanup the after math of a 9in snow fall this was more fluffy light stuff, defiantly didn't have a problem blowing it out of the way good 10ft blowing distance

Great value for the price!

I just purchased this on 12-17-2010 and it is the first snowblower I have owned but not the first one I have used.I live in central Ohio so our winters are unpredictable. It worked very well and was put together from the store ready to go. It throws the snow far enough I did my double driveway starting from one side and making passes like mowing grass. It cut right down to the concrete through the packed snow from our cars.Having 6 speeds and reverse is nice. For the price I dont think you can get a better snowblower. One thing I forgot was to ajust the slide shoes before I used it. I would read the manual before you use it ,not after like I did. I have never heard of the powermore engine before this puchase,so time will tell.Being made by MTD parts should not be a problem in the future. I would also purchace a set of tire chains which I ordered today.
