Think I Picked The Right One
Date:May 24, 2012
Bought a front tineHuskee tiller at TSC last year and it was great. Big project in my front and back yard. Used it for breaking up soil then moving it in a backbreaking method (wheelbarrow) to create unique landscaping and digging for geothermal tunnels in back yard. Not big enough but I still got along. Rented larger equipment also. Flawless starts, the tines are so skinny from wear you wonder how they still work. Did lots of research and knew that a rear cr tine tiller would beat this thing to death. Sure enough I got the RT45 yesterday and put it through some tough hours yesterday and it did just what I was hopeing it would do. It will till just above an idle! Put gas and oil in and away I went. Forgot to get the manual as it was already assembled. Will go back later. Read some scary reviews on some other tillers. This one is great. Hope it holds up like my other one. If it does, I will sing its praises in a year in another review.

What a beast

Bought this product a couple days ago, and I was able to use it today. Went over the manual, and put the oil in. Started up on one pull. The tiller is very smooth when pushing it, I can use it with one hand while it is running. Within in 1 hr I tilled up a 20 by 30 patch, and went over it 3 or four times. When it hit some wrong it just threw them aside. Did dig up one large stone, and the thing absolutely chewed through have the stone. Runs very nice and smooth with no hickup at all. Great product. and Great service.

I bought this tiller, brought it home at 10:00 am. Added the included oil, added gas and went through all the checks. Set the choke and pulled the starter rope one time and it fired. It's break in was 4 or 5 hours of hard tilling at full depth and had absolutely no problems. no bogging down, sputters or anything. I'm a professional turf equipt. mechanic with 30 yrs. experience and would recommend this machine to anyone.
