Description
The Poulan PRO® PP5500P Pole Saw Attachment converts split boom trimmers into a pole saw. The PP 5500P is ideal for light to medium duty trimming and grooming of trees. The versatile 2 piece shaft allows for easy convenient transport or storage. It features an 8 in. bar and chain allowing the operator to cut 6 in. limbs and branches. An automatic gear driven oil pump provides sufficient lubrication to the cutting attachments. The pole saw fits all detachable Poulan PRO® trimmers and in addition will fit the following detachable or split boom trimmers: Weed Eater, Snapper, Troy Bilt, Cub Cadet, Craftsman, Ryobi, John Deere and Homelite.

The actual pole saw attachent works well. The issue with this Poulan Pro product is the pp338pt drive train which does not want to idle and bogs down when used with the weed eater attachment. Don't expect any help from your "two year" manufacturer's warranty. Warranty issues are farmed out to a parts company and they will not ship any replacement parts under warranty after 30 days. You are forced to send the equipment out for repair at your expense for ANY warranty issue, only THEN poulan pro or someone will decide whether they want to warranty the repair work. I will NOT buy another Poulan pro Product. The warranties are worthless!

I purchased this gift online for my husband this past Christmas. He has used it and is delighted with it. The folks at the store it was delivered to were great to deal with. I recommend TSC as the customer service is the best.
