It's one thing to talk innovation - it's another to back it up. Cub Cadet has been backing it up for decades. How? By building riding tractors, utility vehicles, and commercial mowers that work harder and perform better than anything else. Cub Cadet is committed to moving outdoor power equipment forward. The world around us is constantly advancing. Shouldn't the machines we use to care for it advance too?

Cub Cadet 2 cycle trimmer
Date:May 2, 2012
This is my third and last cub cadet I will ever own. They have lasted from 3 months to one year, bog down in medium grass. Bought because of the name and rebought thinking I may have gotten a bad one. Now know they are all like this. For a well groomed yard it will work fine, but for medium to heavy cutting you will learn to hate it as i have.

I picked this up for some weed eating and to add to my Zombie Apocalypse Kit. Sorry to say I broke this within the 1st hour of getting it home. I guess I pulled so hard and so many times that the starter locked up. I'm just glad I didn't have to use it in an emergency case or I would of been undead.

no more cub cadet for me
Date:September 10, 2011
I purchased this item to replace my husqvarna and am I ever disappointed. It was hard to start and when it did get running, it would die under load. I was never able to put the choke int position 3 - had to keep it in 2 even after it warmed up or it would bog down and shut off. It lasted less than 2 months and now it won't start at all - fuel delivery issues - and I only used to three times.
I'm heading out to get another husqvarna right now.
If your brave enough to try this pathetic excuse for a power tool, make sure you buy for the Tractor Supply extended warranty - I didn't and now it's in the garbage.
I only gave it one star because there was no option for zero stars.

Cub Cadet CC2090 Awsome!
Date:September 10, 2011
I bought this product to cut bushes with and it works great! I bought a bush cutting blade elsewhere and attached it to the brush cutting attachment and was very happy when it worked perfectly. I've even cut down small trees up to 3" in diameter. Best trimmer I've ever owned.
