Great Product

i bought this mower, and put it together, started on the first pull of the starter rope, which i thought was awesome. mowed the front yard and was amazed at how much clippings were picked up, i really like the caster front end, makes getting around landscaping very easy, lessening the amount of weed eating i will have to do. Good Craftsmanship, good quality in the mower, it will last many, many years.

Great for the fix-it-man

This mower is fantastic for the handyman! I loved the mower. I loved the eay start. I loved the way it handled! I loved the bagger! I love the rear wheel drive. I love the front wheels. Loved everything about it EXCEPT IT CONSTANTLY NEEDS FIXING!!!!! I am alone and cannot afford to have it fixed repeatedly. My mower is less than 5 years old and will be relaced this season because after being fixed 3 time this summer it is down once again!!!!! Never made it thru one season without a repair bill :(

Disappointment
Date:May 11, 2011
I had a Toro, which finally wore out, so I thought I'd try a cub cadet. Big mistake. It's slow and when you collect grass, the bag falls off when it's only about 1/3 full. I tried calling Cub Cadet to see if I could return it, but was put on hold for over a hour. I just gave up. I'm going to try and sell it at whatever it takes to get ride of it, at a big loss I'm sure, and get another Toro. It also don't have a clean out hook up like other brands. The only good thing about it is that it starts good. I did think about getting a riding cub, I'm glad that I didn't. I'll never buy another cub cadet product nor will anyone of my family.

Was the display model, only one in stock and didn't kneaux when another would arrive.Gas tank seems small, 3/10 of a gallon measured at the pump on the way home. Started on the 1st crank, nice not to have to prime it. Its fast, but I like to mow at a brisk pace. Definitely prefers even ground, mowing on the lowest height setting and rear wheels can't get traction if it isn't level (around the pool). Love the swivel front wheels, no need to lift for turns anymore. Not designed for mowing into corners as there is not way to get there, but the 21" width does get it into tight places. Sofar I've only mulched so no idea yet on how well the grass catcher works.
