Just an ok mower
Date:May 18, 2012
I bought the Bad Boy ZT 60 inch mower and for the price and high quality construction and I have had it for a coulple months now. I mow several yards on the side and needed a good mower...This mower does great on FLAT ground, the cut looks professional and it cuts through anything with the 27hp Kohler. It is terrible on any kind of uneven ground or side ditch, it scalps the yard on turns and bumps and has NO traction. I kinda wish I would have spent the extra money for a real commercial style mower.

Fantastic mower
Date:May 9, 2012
I have owned this mower since 2009 and have no regrets. I am just now replacing the blade belt for the first time and only because a large stick kicked in to the belt and took out a chunk. It mows fast, sets cut height with an electric switch (easy) and has never had an issue. I spent a day doing the initial setup to have the cut flat and height matched to the markers on the height gauge. Except for oil and filter changes I have not had to do anything since, except sharpen the blades which keep sharp a LONG time. It takes me around 1 3/4 hours to finish mowed near 4 acres around trees and terrain. I would look at adding the air ride seat as it will be a rough ride at 10ish MPH on bumpy terrain when you are going all out with the tires inflated to a high setting.

bad boy is the best
Date:April 11, 2012
Purchased at TSC about two yrs ago. I mow over three acres every week. This mower is the best mower I have ever owned. It will mow hills and slopes if you take your time and get comfortable with controls. Also if you slow down and steer it right it will not dig up the ground around trees. It is the fastest and best mower sold. Rock solid construction. This mower is made like we made things 50 yrs ago in this country. WITH PRIDE.

Died in 14 Mos & Not for Middle TN
Date:August 20, 2011
Bought mine from TSC May 2010 after reading the TSC reviews. 2 Mos after warranty (14 mos later) the charging system has died. Put a new battery in 2 wks ago and it died.
Terrible, even dangerous, on mid-Tenn hills. I've gone over the side of the steep part a few times and into the woods twice when ground is wet. It also tears up the grass on turns. My wife is very unhappy about that.
On the less sloped area by the barn & road it's incredible, fast and cuts real even. But up the hill by the house its a terrible mower. Should have spent the extra couple of grand for a mower I could have demo'd on the hills like my Manager did. He got a Snapper commercial with 60" and loves it on his hills.
