Love this!
Date:February 4, 2012
i bought this right after the new year, knowing they would have new year models in stock...but I called ahead to the Talladega store to make sure they had the one I wanted actually on-site...they said yes.
This mower hasn't really been put through it's paces, but I can say without a doubt from what little I've done with it that it does a great job, plenty of power..and a big selling point for me was having the extra compartments & room for things, like coffee cup, cigs, iPod ...my last Cub, I kept dropping my iPod to the deck.
I'll report later after I've used it for quite a few hours.

Very good machine
Date:May 22, 2011
After the wife had a heart attack and me with Dbl. knee replacement we needed a good riding mower. At Tractor Supply, I am like a kid in a candy store. After it being very easy to get my credit limit raised to buy a Cub Cadet riding mower I was in the mood to get the most out of my buck. So I went with this mower because of size and name. Both very good. I only cut 1 and a half acre, but most is up hill. It cut`s the grass like cutting a cake. Very easy. But the only thing that I think would make it even better to the buyer is that when you buy you`rs it will have some Hrs. on the mower. Now they want you to change the motor oil and filter after 5 Hrs. Well, when you buy it and it has 3 Hrs. on it aready they should "GIVE" you a filter and enough oil for the first oil change. How does this sound to you. When you get you`rs ask them about that. If they want the sale , I think they would give you what you ask for. For that kind of money they should. Best mower I ever owned, and will get anouther, it just depends If I out live the mower.

Cub Cadet ROCKS!
Date:September 5, 2010
Purchased the Cub Cadet 1050 after many months of research. I mow close to 10 acres, and have been using my tractor and bush hog. I started looking and decided against the zero turn because I wanted to be able to tow a small trailer. The Cub's speed surprised me - it really moves out! Seat is comfortable and its easy to drive. My mower had been outside at TSC for while, and I suppose that could have contributed to the belt breaking the first day. But the TSC manager in Ravenel (Charleston) fixed me right up. It being Labor Day weekend, they didn't have someone to install it, but I got a friend and we did it with no problem. The only thing I wish CC would do is put a light on the instrument panel. Other than that, I love it!

EXCELLENT MOWER
Date:August 22, 2010
We have been very happy with this mower! We debated over getting one of these or a zero turn, but because of our uneven, bumpy yard, we decided on this one and have not been disappointed. I especially like the hydrostatic transmission! It rides nice and goes around trees better than most riders we have used.
