Terrible Tractor
Date:October 27, 2011
I have never owned a tractor worst than this one. I can't believe all of the reviews are 5 star - I must have a different tractor than those people. I purchased my tractor a couple of months ago. It has only 10.5 hrs. When cutting the grass in the summer the front wheel constantly cut the ground while turning and leaving deep gouges in the lawn. The cut also was very uneven. The seat has to be in the up position in order to open the bagger. The closing system on the the bagger is terrible. Very bad engineering. When stepping on the reverse pedal the accelerator pedal comes back and binds my foot to the other pedal. I can hardly wait until I have my winter boots on instead of tennis shoes and trying to back up with the snow blower on it. Just start picking up the leaves recently and see that more leaves blow out the bottom of the mower than goes in the bagger (Yes I have the mower low to the ground!!). Very disappointed in this tractor would never recommend to a friend. Can hardly wait until I get rid of it.

All I can say is awesome

I have used Craftsman, John Deere, and now Cub Cadet. I have been using a John Deere for mowing a little over an acer plot. It used to take me just a little over 45 min to do this with the same 46 inch cutting deck. And now with the cub cadet I can mowe the lawn in 25 min. Others have said that the mower deck will cut into the ground when turning. I have found this mower will do that at full speed. But if you slow down in the corners it works great. I now have the nicest cut lawn I have ever seen in years. My lawn is very bumpy and it has done the best so far compared to the others. I have owned this mower for one summer now and have not had any problems with it. I am now a fan of cub cadet and will never own an anougher brand again.

Love this machine
Date:October 5, 2011
Wish I had bought this machine sooner! Added gasoline, checked it over and tore into my yard. Cut my mowing time in half. Handles well and has great features. Lives up to the quality my dad touted for years of Cub Cadet ownership.

Hello I shopped around awhile for a new replacement. For my 14 year old Craftman. Cub Cadet seems to be best in class all around with good reviews. My brother had a lot later model Craftman with a twin Briggs. Very SORRY engine turned me away from those two names. Got my Cub in March 2011 so far very happy. First Kohler but I wanted a twin just for the power to cut not stall. Would say this is a boss for the money and build. Thank You.
