Description
Spread everything from fertilizer to seed to ice melters and more with an Agri-Fab® Tow Broadcast Spreader. Broadcast spreaders cut down on the number of passes necessary to fully cover your lawn due to their wide distribution pattern. Because of their random distribution pattern, over-fertilizing and under-fertilizing are reduced.
8 gal (dry)/100 lb. polyethylene hopper provides roughly 17,500 sq ft coverage (roughly 1/4 acre)
Easily connects to the back of riding mowers/tractors

Bent Axle
Date:March 19, 2011
Just ordered one of these on-line and had it shipped to local store. Assembled the unit in about 30 mins. Instructions are well written. Found that the gears would lock up after a 1/4 turn of the drive tire. Made all adjustments specified in manual to relieve the binding. Still locked-up. Could see that the main gear was moving up and down as the drive tire rotated. Finally noticed that the axle was bent, causing the gears to lock-up. Called the store where I picked it up, and they washed thier hands of the transaction. Frustrated, called CS. They emailed a return UPS tag for product return within minutes. Hopefully, the next unit will work. Will update review upon use of second unit.

Great Value

Works great and easy to use. The only difference I can see between this broadcast spreader and the "green" one is the color and the price, which is significantly less. Also, it was easy to assemble, I had my 5 year old grandson help me and it still only took me 20 minutes.

Nice Piece of Equipment
Date:June 12, 2010
I purchased this on line. Received it in about a week. It came without the drive wheel. I called customer service and received a new drive wheel. Great service. This spreader works just fine probably just as good as a more expensive one. The control for the amount of product is easily accessable from your tractor seat. This is a product well worth the price.
