Mo-Deck came about when a chemist became frustrated with wet grass sticking to his mower deck and clumping and clogging his grass catcher chute. After many attempts he came across a polymer blend that worked great, was easy to apply and sprays clear. Now that useful innovation is available to you and available at your nearest Tractor Supply store.

Wow!! What A Great Product!!
Date:September 16, 2011
I have had problems with grass (lots and lots of it) sticking to my tractor mower deck since new (2004). I have to remove the deck from the tractor (a REAL pain!) to clean it. I tried this Mo Deck, and all I can say is 'WOW!'. It works. Yes, it smells just like WD-40, but it works. Before spraying it on, I read the directions, and, as they suggested, removed all stuck-on grass, then wire-brushed the deck down to the rusty metal and paint (where there still was some). I applied three coats, letting it dry 15 minutes between coats, just like the instructions said. It dries to a hard finish, so it's not WD-40, even though it smells like it. I mow an area of around one and a half acres at a time. The last two times, there wasn't ONE BLADE OF GRASS in the mower deck! I'm an old man (74), and anything that saves me the trouble of removing the mower deck is fine with me.

Good stuff

This stuff really works, I use it on my riding mower to keep the grass from collecting to a minimum. I also use it on my snow blower to keep the snower from sticking.
