Got one of these a year ago, it cuts fine, will go through just about anything no problem. Only complaint is it stalls a lot and needs to be restarted.Still for the money, its pretty good.

Unstoppable

Bought 4 on a blowout sale about 5 years ago, kept one and the rest were Christmas gifts. Has never failed to start even after sitting the entire winter with the same gas in the spring. From dead rock hard standing ash 18' or more in diameter to pruning fruit trees, it's a nice light saw with more than ample power to hog through anything you put the blade to. Can't go wrong; use good gas, synthetic oil with stabilizer and it'll run forever.

I bought this saw in 2009. It started up just fine, cut just fine, but once it was warmed up it would stall constantly as soon as I let off the throttle. I cut up about 20 face cord of wood over the last 2 years, but when I used it the other day the pin that holds the sprocket on snapped. It looks like it is part of the crankshaft. Probably not worth paying someone to fix this, so I'll be out shopping for a different saw today.

Was looking for a go to chainsaw for quick work, something cheap so i picked this up,this thing was a screamer that cut great but would stall coming off of idle after starting it about 20 times in 10 minutes i gave up and took it back to tsc who were great i swappped it out for one on display(last one)hopeing the second one would be better,i liked the weight & speed of this saw.Well the second saw did the same thing kept stalling coming off of idle.Maybe it was just a bad batch of saws this store recieved.TSC took this one back with no complaints. Thanks TSC
