I bought this helmet a year ago and use it at least 3 days a week with no problems. I have had my fair share of light mishaps with branchs and brush coming down on top of my head with no injuries.
When I first started to use this it took a little getting used to due to never using any protection over the past 30+ years of cutting fire wood. The hearing protection is outstand and the face sheild has saved many smacks in the face with allowing plenty of air movement to stay cool.
The only improvement I would make is adding a rachet head band.

Purchased this helmet system when I bought the 455 Rancher saw. The system works very well with everything in one easy on/off design. The hearing protection is very satisfactory and the face screen has worked well so far but the plastic surround on the screen is already cracking yet is still serviceable. The helmet itself I have not had the misfortune to test its capabilities as of yet thank the Lord. Parts are available for the system. Overall I am satisfied with this purchase so far.

Cons: Quality Construction
I purchased this helmet to replace my Husqvarna helmet I purchased in the early 90's. I could no longer get replacement parts so I upgraded to this system. It broke where the visor/ear piece fits in the helmet in less than 1 week! I purchased a Stihl helmet at their dealership and its been fine for the last 6 months. I use Huskies but have a Stihl helmet now. To bad the improvements in the helmets since my last helmet just meant cheap and lightweight.

Very light weight comfortable to wear all day long not only good for cutting fire wood or trimming trees also good for weed eating also
