Good Layer & Duck feed
Date:February 28, 2012
I use this for my male duck and my 7 chickens with added soybean meal and oyster shell.
My chickens love this feed! (They much prefer crumbles over pellets.)
I just got 6 new chicks (4 reds & 2 mixed) from TSC and have 11 fertile eggs split up between 2 setters! Ive got a lot of chicks soon to be had!
I mix this feed with soybean meal for my layers and feed it straight to my male duck so I don't have to buy 2 bags of feed. I use soybeanmeal for my layers any ways, so why not just get grower and use it for my duck AND my hens? I have not noticed any more smell in my coup since switching from a more expencive feed.
I really like this product and so do my birds...
Thanx TSC.

Great for DUCKS and chickens
Date:September 17, 2011
our 7 year old geezer rooster is still is healthy and loves this feed. We also have Pekins, Mallard and Call Ducks we feed this. All in very good shape due this feed. The pekins would EAT the whole bag if we would let them. A good feed for the mature chicken or duck. you may need a high protein content for layers.

wishing there were more choices
Date:August 22, 2010
This product is okay but I wish my store had more of a selection of natural products for my chickens. What ever happened to a whole grain instead of grain by-products?
