Description
This high protein DuMOR® Chick Starter 24% Feed is a complete crumble formula for starting turkey and game bird chicks such as quail, pheasant and chukar, which have very high nutritional requirements early in life. Premium nutrition during this early stage of life will support strong skeletal growth, proper muscle development, beautiful feathering and will get birds off to a healthy start.
- 24% protein rich in essential amino acids
- Easily eaten even by tiny quail chicks
Crude Protein (min.) 24.00%, Crude Fat (min.) 2.50%, Lysine (min.) 1.35%, Methionine (min.) .50%, Crude Fiber (max.) 4.50%, Calcium (Ca) (min.) 1.00%, Calcium (Ca) (max.) 1.50%, Phosphorus (P) (min.) .80%, Salt (NaCl) (min.) .25%, Salt (NaCl) (max.) .75%, Ruminant meat and bone meal free.
Feeding Instructions:
Feed free-choice as the sole ration to turkey, quail, pheasant and chukar chicks from 0 to 6 weeks of age. After 6 weeks, gradually transition birds to DuMOR® chick Starter/Grower 20%.

Used this feed for my 1st round of chicks they have grown out so wonderfully. This feed gave them a wonderful start the higher protein gives them a really good boost to start life. When we decided to get a 2nd round of chicks I of course chose this feed. I would refer this to anyone .

Great Feed Makes AWesome Birds*

I have been a Poultry Superintendent at a State fair for 10 years. I have raised,shown,bred and sold poultry for a few more years,and have always been very happy with the product quality that my local Tractor Supply store offers. I have never had any bags that appeared old,torn,or moldy.I have always been able to get fresh,healthy feed for all my poultry needs,from chicks,to young stock,to layers,and waterfowl.I have asked for donations from Tractor Supply for the local & state 4-H Poultry Youth,and they have always be kind,and very willing to help with any donations they could. Tractor Supply works for me,as an adult poultry grower,,but more importantly,it works for 4-H Youth across the nation. They encourage youth to stay committed and involved in Agriculture,by the kind,giving attitude toward sponsorship of 4-H events.THANKS Tractor Supply!

Heritage breed chickens

We started our Heritage breed chickens on this feed to meet their higher protein needs. The chicks have grown into healthy adults.

I just love the convenience. This is a great feed for all my babies. I was able to buy chicks and great feed at the same time. My chicks love it and are growing well.
