Description

Red Lake Earth® Diatomaceous Earth with Calcium Bentonite is a unique, natural product that can be used as an anti-caking agent or pelleting aid in feed. It can be used with various livestock species including bovid (beef, bison, dairy, deer, goats, sheep, etc), camelids (alpacas, llamas, etc), poultry (chicken, duck, emu, goose, ostrich, pigeon, quail, turkey, etc), rodents (chinchillas, gerbils, guinea pigs, hamsters, etc), dogs, equine, rabbits, swine. This product can also be used as a dust bath to control external pests. Diatomaceous Earth can be used as a natural insecticide and natural de-wormer.

Red Lake Earth Diatomaceous Earth is a powder that is available in a 20 lb. bag.

Ingredients:
Diatomaceous Earth, Calcium Bentonite

Feeding directions
Horses: 500 to 1,000 lb. give 1 tablespoon per day, 1,100 to 1,800 lb. give 2 tablespoons per day, over 1,800 lb. give 3 tablespoons per day
Dogs & Cats: If their weight is under 100 lb., you can feed them 1/4 teaspoon per day
Sheep, Goats, Alpacas, etc: 1/2 tablespoon per day
Dairy Cows, Beef Cattle, etc: Feed approximately 1% of their daily ration or give it to them Free Choice.

Administration:
Provide RLE by mixing it into your feed, putting it topically onto feed or feeding it Free Choice.

Note: Not to exceed 2% of total diet.

Excellent product!

I have used DE for years for myself and my dogs. It helps detox the body and rid the dogs of any internal parasites that they might have. It is also good for general health and joint issues too. I am so glad to see TS selling it now since it makes it affordable to purchase and use more often. Thanks TS!

I was new at raising chickens and was really struggling with loosing chickens would ask people with chickens and would get different advice on what the problem was finally was told to treat for worms. Started searching and found liquid witch was a chemical and I wanted something natural! So finally I got on my computer and went to tractor supply's web site and found the red lake earth. I mix it in my chickens food and spread it around the roost as well as a large pan with aprox. 2to3 inches of dust in it for the chickens to dust in. No more dieing or sickly looking chickens!!!!! Thank you tractor supply and red lake earth

Highly recommend for internal/external

I tried another brand of DE for natural dewormer. Before I gave it to our dogs, I used it on myself. I stopped because I couldn't by locally until Tractor Supply started selling it.

We have 13 hens and I spread it all over the hen house and their yard. Flies and other bugs were gone the next day. Smell reduced or completely gone.

I am about to begin taking it again for its human health benefits and feed it to the dogs for parasite control. I am also going to begin putting it around the baseboards and outside the house.

The pest control service we use hasn't stopped the pests, but after they spray I smell it. With a new little Pom that eats everything, I am afraid off every leaf he nibbles on by the house.

Best part - it's affordable and if you follow the guidelines, safe to eat and use as a natural pesticide.
