DuMOR® Spring Mineral Block is a high-magnesium product designed to help grazing cattle avoid grass tetany, a springtime disorder that is a result of magnesium deficiency. Provides properly balanced amounts of the critical vitamins and minerals needed to support optimal health, reproduction and growth in cattle, providing what is often lacking or unbalanced in native pastures and forages. Feeding instructions:
For best results in the effort to avoid grass tetany, DuMOR® Spring Mineral Block should be fed for several days before livestock are moved to pasture. Start with one block for every ten animals. Salt and other mineral sources should be removed to ensure adequate intake. Set out fresh blocks near the water supply when previous blocks are two-thirds gone. Beef and non-lactating dairy cattle on pasture should consume 4-5 oz. per head per day to take in 15.3-18.9 grams of magnesium. Caution: Do not feed to sheep. This product contains added copper. Follow label directions. Feeding added selenium at levels in excess of 0.3 ppm in the total diet is prohibited.
