The Safe-Guard® Beef and Dairy Cattle Dewormer is a multi-dose paste dewormer cartridge for use in beef and dairy cattle. For the removal and control of:
Lungworms: (Dictyocaulus viviparus)
Stomach worms: Barberpole worms (Haemonchus contortus/placei), Brown stomach worms (Ostertagia ostertagi), Small stomach worm (Trichostrongylus axei)
Intestinal worms: Hookworms (Bunostomum phlebotomum), Thread-necked intestinal worms (Nematodirus helvetianus), Small intestinal worms (Cooperia punctata & C. oncophora)
Bankrupt worms (Trichostrongylus colubriformis)
Nodular worms (Oesophagostomum radiatum).
Ingredients: (fenbendazole) Paste 10% (100 mg/g).
Feeding instructions: Safe-Guard® (fenbendazole) Paste is given orally to beef and dairy cattle. The dose is 5 mg fenbendazole/kg (2.3 mg/lb) or 5 g Safe-Guard® (fenbendazole) Paste per 220 lb body weight (100 kg). Each full depression of the dispensing gun trigger delivers approximately 5 g Safe-Guard® (fenbendazole) Paste.

If you have a lot of dogs this will save you tons of money - same as Panacure and with the 290 gram applicator one full squirt three days in a row worms a 50 lb dog.Fenbendazole (Safe-Guard or Panacur) is one of the safest dewormers on the market.

We use the safeguard paste to worm all our dogs, even puppies ( at least 6 weeks of age). It works great and actually has the same ingredient as Panacure that the vets give you. ( but much more economical!)
