I didn't like this feeder much at all. The metal was flimsy and quickly warped. Then the handle wouldn't stay on anymore so I had to make a replacement. Eventually I bought the red and white plastic feeders instead and sent this thing in with the scrap metal for recycling.

I only have three hens but they eat alot. In the winter when they are not laying my feeder gives me a break from those morning feeding and gives me a few days between visits to the chicken coop. I put my feeder on a bucket instead of hanging it. That way they don't perch on it.
