Do NOT buy this
Date:September 2, 2011
I regulated the temp, put my eggs in and then 5 days later for no reason whatsoever the temp jumped to 112 and I cannot get the temp below 110 with it plugged in. NO my room temp did not change. I even moved the incubator to a colder location and still could not get it below 110 unless I unplugged it. 19 good eggs lost because it cannot come anywhere close to regulating a temp. This product is garbage and I am so upset to lose so many good eggs. Now I have to start all over and find an actual good product. I am so scared to by any other incubator because of this one.

almost 100% hatch!
Date:July 16, 2011
Used shipped eggs, set 24, had 20 hatch! Takes a couple days to tune the temperature but then it's good and set. Will use again. Did not have turner or fan but don't think 20 / 24 was bad so not going to add them. Makes it a great cost saver.

I have used the incubator for 2 hatches now. The first time I put in 16 eggs and hatched 12, the second time I put in 21 eggs and hatched 16. After candleing the 21 for the second time I suspected that 4 would not hatch,(they just didn't look like they were developing like the others). The 12 that hatched are now 3 1/2 weeks old and the 21 are 2 days old. That is how recent I have used this incubator. I used the eggs turner with mine because I knew I would not be available to turn the eggs myself throughout the day. While using the egg turner it is difficult to see the water level in the water resevoir. I had to use a funnel to fill the water to keep from pouring it everywhere too. Other than the water resevoir being hard to see and fill, I thought the incubator done a good job. I didn't have a problem the the temp. flunctuating much either, it stayed pretty constent once I got it set, whick wasn't very hard. Since I have never used another incubator I can't say how this one would campare to another, but I thougtht this one done fine, and I will probably use it again.

Worked Great with Goose Eggs!
Date:April 29, 2011
This was our first time ever incubating any kind of eggs..and my husband picked Goose Eggs! He bought a dozen of them at a chicken auction and brought them home. He said he was going to build himself an incubator..couple days went by and he hadn't done anything yet, so I went by our local Tractor Supply and bought this simple little incubator..no fan, no turner..and guess what? We successfully hatched 4 goslings just yesterday and they are all healthy and peeping their heads off! We turned the eggs every 8 hours, round the clock...candled them at about halfway mark..only 8 were good...then candled them again at day 27..5 were looking good. Then we added some wet sponges for extra humidity and locked down..stopped turning the eggs. they hatched 3-4 days later!
