Harris Farms Poultry Drinker is ideal for larger or adult birds. The 3.5 gallon drinker is made from durable plastic so it never rusts and can be easily cleaned. Thanks to a sturdy twist lock handle the 3.5 gallon drinker can be carried even when it is full of water. Refilling is a breeze, simply turn the drinker upside down (feet mounted on top will keep the drinker stable), twist off the base and fill. Holds 3.5 gallons of water.

OK But not the best

Have problem with the water filling the tray, if the one outlet hole is not lined up exactly the water does not flow unless you shake the tank. I have to check every few hours here in the hot weather for birds being able to drink. Plenty of water just no flow.

Easy to use! Agree with the unlevel ground issues. Worst problem is algae growth in summer. Our chickens free range during the day in chicken tractors so the waterer is in the light. We had serious algae growth which must be scrubbed off with a brush. Our flip top waterer actually grew so much algae that water stopped coming out. I also like the metal ones because you can't use the plastic ones on a heated base for the winter.
