Shelterlogic Garage In a Box
Date:January 1, 2012
Just purchased this garage so I can't speak to it's lifespan thus far but can review unit itself. Assembled garage by myself, was pretty straight forward, some directions aren't exactly clear(revisions to product but not directions) & some poles must be removed & re-installed to put cover on but overall easy assembly. This is as they state a temporary structure but for what I paid(TSC had best deal plus extras only they include) in comparison to anything else it's a great deal! Hope to get a couple years out of this and would definately purchase another.

Great Purchase

We bought this portable garage 2 years ago, It has seen two winters. It has been the best purchase that we have made from TSC thus far. Yes you must keep the snow brushed off and it must be anchered into the ground. Our shelter has not moved and is in about the same condition that we purchased it in October of 2009. I would recommend this product to anyone. We purchased it on sale, and we have already gotten our monies worth...........We have also recommended this to people in TSC that are looking at this product. Maintaining it is important to ensure it lasting...............

Garage-in-box..."temporary" storage facility

I bought this garage for my tractor and some yard equipment in July of 2009. It was a bit of a challenge to assemble by myself, but I managed (I like puzzles). It worked well for 2009 and 2010. Only minor issues - zippers that broke and pipes on doors that slide out in the wind. However, this year, 2011, the entire top shredded right down the middle front to back! It has been thru a couple of snow storms and ice storms, but I have always been good about brooming the snow/ice off from the inside several times during the day/night. I suppose it has served it's purpose, but I am a little disappointed in how long it lasted. If I could have gotten one more year out of it, I would have been more satisfied. I'm going to put a tarp on it for now (too expensive to buy a replacement canopy). I'd like to put on a metal roof on it with some additional supports to make it more of a permanent structure.

Worth twice the money
Date:September 1, 2011
I purchased the portable garage 4 years ago and it was the best investment I've ever made. It was easy to put together. I did it by myself in probably 3 hours. All the parts are clearly marked, pre-drilled and a perfect fit. The instructions were well written and clear. I put in a raised wood plank floor to eliminate condensation. It has survived two of the worst winters on record (most storms dumped a minimum of 12" of snow each), a tornado, earthquake and a hurricane. The cover is still like new and the frame is as straight as the day I built it. I am buying another one this week.
