Great planter for the price
Date:October 23, 2011
It takes a little common sense to use to use but compare to the others built like it its well worth it. The concave press wheels work better than the other brands in the same price range (and higher ) because It has better soil to seed contact than a flat wheel yes the fertilizer hopper is a bit tricky. So what if you put out a little xtra the plants will use it. So what if have to plug of a few holes to get the correct amount of seed. Thats any of this type of seeded and theres only to of them. For the money it cant be beat so far.

Plastic
Date:March 5, 2011
This is a very poorly designed product. The majority of it's components are plastic. This will only work in the looses of soil and then not well. The wheels are driven by a belt which slips when any friction is applied. The planting wheels/cards are also plastic and seeds regularly get jammed. Due to the fact the wheels are driven by a belt a slip with very little force you need to unjam it manually. I generally run a row three or four times and then after germination go back and weed to row for proper spacing.

BEWARE
Date:February 22, 2010
I had another one for over 8 years and could not locate a dist. for that make. You have to tape the plates to keep from planting to close.Cannot get the fertilzer to spread right. At the price of fertilizer you need all the help u can get.if they could get the kinks out of it i believe they will have a product that will beat all others hands down

walk behind seeder
Date:February 17, 2010
Bought the seeder may 2009. It is very plastic, it is very hard to use in thick soil. It is a breeze in thin soil. IF you rototill thick ground it will not work, very hard to push the wheels through the soil.
