Best Quality Tall Fescue Price Per Pound
Date:September 7, 2011
This fescue is the best quality fescue price per pound available in Kansas City. I have a half acre lot and have had reseeded with Houndog 6 three years ago. Lawn and Garden stores sell similar quality fescue blends for twice the cost. This seed creates a think, green yard, with blades that are comfortable to walk on bare footed. During the heat and humidity of August in Kansas City, my lawn is the last to go dormant and the first to green back up once cooler temperatures arrive in September, with watering only enough to keep the dormant grass alive (once every couple of weeks) if needed. Once summer arrives, I mow it at 4 inches throughout the summer, to protect the crown and the grass stays green even during short periods without rain.

Great Fescue Blend
Date:March 18, 2011
Renovated back yard last year and too late to reseed with other than fescue. After looking at several brands and mixes choose this brand. The result for us was exactly as advertised and the grass is the thick and dark green . Withstood an unusual cold winter and greened up immediately when the temperature increased. We have a heavy clay soil and it is thriving. Would highly recommend if you are going to plant fescue.
