staying warm

Heater provides an excellent source of heat and does it quickly. I have not noticed any kerosene smell except when I shut it down and even with that it dissipates quickly. The maximum fuel consumption of .167 gal per hour, as specified in the owner’s manual, seems accurate with my use. On the negative side, you can not regulate the heat output as it runs on high when it is on. I don’t really know but I suppose this is true of any kerosene heater. After using heater for several times, I have no regrets on this purchase.

Well worth the money

I bought this to use in my garage untill the coal stove was installed, and also as back up in my house. Heats my 2 bay repair shop very well, and only burns a gallon of fuel if i run it all day. VERY little smell on start up and shut down, nothing like heaters i used growing up. Other than that no smell at all while burning. Only complaint is the electric starter won't light it. Seems to not quit reach the wick when pushed down, gonna try to adjust it. Well worth the money. Would definitly buy another.

Well Worth It

I've had a Dyna Glo for around 10 years now. It burns very clean with basically no fumes except for a tiny amount rleased just when I turn it off. It produces a lot of heat and has been dependable. My husband recently bought a second kerosene heater at Northern Tool, and it was NOT a Dyna Glo. It looked very similar, but it was sub par to the Dyna Glo. The combustion of the NON-Dyna Glo produced more fumes than I could tolerate, and it was not as fuel efficient as the Dyna Glo. My husband took it back and bought another Dyna Glo at Tractor Supply. Now we have two. After trying the NON-Dyna Glo, we realize just how good the Dyna Glow is because it doesn't produce any noticeable fumes and is fuel efficient. I'm really glad to have it. I think it is an excellent purchase.

After doing some research and reading the reviews, I purchased this heater for two reasons. The first was to save on are propane usage. The second was just in case there was a power outage. So far I'm very impressed! My only regret is that I should have purchased 2 of them .
