pitcher pump

It's a nice looking pump,as far as a functional,durable pump, it breaks VERY easily. We put it in, in May 2011, used it a couple time, have not even used it since September2011,came out one morning and the pump part was lying on the encasement. the bolt holding- the cast iron part to the main frame , was shattered . this was on 12/31/2011. So much for the pump, It's only under warranty for 90 days. I guess an iron pump might work better? It's an ornamental piece.
