Could be better

The stove itself works ok, but the structure of it is horrible. It rattles and vibrates so bad that you can hear it through the whole house through the registers. When we called Customer service of the stove maker, they kept telling us there was a bolt loose! We tightened all the bolts and checked them a hundred times! And that was all she kept saying. We asked to speak to a supervisor and she said she wasn't available. When we finally did get patched through to her, we got her voice mail and then never got a call back!!! We've called three times and no one will help us. We had to attach bars to the side of it, and it only helped a little.

Couldn't Be Happier!

I'm going into my fourth winter with this furnace. I'm happy to say that it did, indeed, pay for itself the first winter we used it. I ran the fans some the first winter; but the last two winters I just left the fans unplugged, as the heat travels through the ducts efficiently enough to heat the whole house without the fans, even in sub-zero temps. I typically come home from work to find the house between 75-80 and have to throw open some windows to get comfortable! Great product--I can't say enough good about it! It may not be perfect for everyone's application, but it's the perfect, cost effective solution for this family.

wood stove blowers

I buy many products from TSC, but I am very disatisfied with the blowers on the stove. I have had my stove about three years and I am on my third blower motor. I have paid 50% of the furnace cost in motors. I have gone back to the store, but to no avail.

Good Heater

We built our home in May 2010. We have several cords of wood from clearing the lot, so we purchased this wood stove in the fall to help keep our heating costs down. If the outdoor temperature is above 30 deg F we will burn a fire in the morning and one in the evening and our home stays above 75 deg F. We have spent a few weeks with our windows open just to keep the house sort of comfortable until we figured out the best settings. I would recommend this for anyone looking for a cost effective way to heat their home.
